OUR STORY

Our story began as a friendship. We have known each other for many years, we met when Ethan and Kim’s brother Chris became friends in high school. Over the years we bonded over our shared love for adventure and the outdoors. Five years ago we started dating and shortly after that we found out we were having a baby. Our daughter Harper is our biggest blessing. The past 5 years have been filled with lots of adventures, love, and laughter. We are so excited and honored to start this new chapter in our lives with you, our friends and family.

Our Story

The Historic Jewel of Key Largo is a Vacation Rental home that we found in Key Largo and fell in love with! We will be hosting the wedding reception here. The house will also be used as a community gathering place for all guests to come and hang out on the property at any point during your stay, feel free to come and go as you please. The house is located directly next door to the Reef House Hotel. There is a sign on the street for the property (pictured below, Louisiana Purchase). This is a large property that sits right on the water, we will have yard games and beverages. We are excited to spend time with everyone.

Friday Dec 1st

We will be hosting a welcome dinner for all guest on Friday evening at 6pm. We will have a food truck serving up some delicious BBQ. This will be a causal dinner setting so feel free to come and go as you please.

Sunday Dec 3rd

We will have a farewell breakfast over at the The Jewel of Key Largo (Reception House)

Saturday Dec 2nd

The wedding will begin at 3:00pm at St. Justin Martyr Church (105500 Overseas Highway Key Largo, Florida.

Cocktail hour will begin after the wedding at Historic Jewel of Key Largo from 4:30pm - 5:30pm. 103688 Overseas Hwy Key Largo, Fl 33037

Dinner to follow after cocktail hour.

Please Note: there is limited parking inside the Historic Jewel of Key Largo (Reception House). If you are staying at the Reef House Hotel, if you could please park at the Hotel and walk over to the reception.

The best airport to fly into is Miami International Airport.

The drive to Reefhouse and surrounding area is about a 1 hour drive depending traffic.

There are a few options for getting to and from Key Largo. Renting a car from a national company, like Dollar Car or Alamo

Renting a car from a site called Turo. If you are unfamiliar with Turo it is a car sharing marketplace were private individuals rent out there car to the public, similar to Air b&b, but for vehicles. This is a great option because the price of cars are very affordable and in most cases the vehicle is waiting for you in the parking garage of the airport. It makes it very convenient to pick up and drop off so you are not having to wait in long rental car lines.
